The New World

my movie was New World (is it with or without "the"? does anybody know?) and i have only watched half of it. the movie was quite interesting and new to me as i had never seen this kinda movie (colonization) before (besides "Amistad"). the reason that kept me away from watchin the whole movie was becoz the english subtitle sucks. i mean it was not really accurate so i kinda got bored. anyway... the movie was about a group of british arrivin in the new land and tryin to settle down over there. they came with aggresiveness and weapons. someone in that group, which i think was a leader, was sendin a captive (colin farrel) over to talk or make a contact with the leader of people who first lived there. he was then captured by those barbarians but as he seemed to be harmless and as a person whom could be learnt from, he was allowed to live with the community and, later, fell in love with the leader's daughter, who seemed to be very interested in learnin about the new/outter world. and "this" was where i fell asleep and stopped the movie LOL!!

man! the ajarn has just given me the whole sets of the 2nd movie. somethin called north/south and there are totally 8 disks! LOL shouldnt really have asked for it! hahaha just kiddin. hope it'll be fun or else i'd fall asleep durin watchin it again. ah well... i'll just have to finish 'em and go blog it online. it's not gonna kill me anyway. there's a sayin said "what has already happened is what's always good" no need to think twice and feel regret bout it. (am i bein so lame here?) LOL until next time... peace!
